Investra HubSpot Integration
Sync your HubSpot contacts into Investra and keep them in step — both ways.
Connect HubSpot to Investra and your contacts flow straight into your Investra Clients list. Edits sync both ways, so HubSpot stays your single source of truth while you run real estate investment analysis on the clients you already manage.
What you can do
- See your HubSpot contacts in Investra automatically — no imports or CSV exports.
- Keep one contact record — update a client in Investra and the change syncs back to HubSpot.
- Run investment analysis on a contact — turn a HubSpot contact into a rental or investment property analysis and keep the numbers tied to the right client.
- Stay scoped to you — you only see the contacts you own in HubSpot.
Requirements
- An active Investra account (free or paid). If you don't have one, you can sign up during the first connection.
- A HubSpot account where you have permission to install apps (a portal admin / app-install rights).
- A HubSpot user record (owner) on that portal, so contacts can be scoped to you.
- A modern browser for the one-time sign-in flow.
Connecting HubSpot to Investra
You can start from either side — both end in the same place.
From the HubSpot App Marketplace
- Find Investra in the HubSpot App Marketplace (or open the install link we share with you) and click Install.
- Choose the HubSpot account you want to connect and review the requested permissions.
- Click Connect to authorize.
- You'll be redirected to Investra. Sign in with your Investra credentials (email & password, Google, or Apple), or create an account inline.
- Investra finishes linking your account, and your HubSpot contacts start appearing in your Clients list.
From inside Investra
- In Investra, go to Integrations → HubSpot and click Connect.
- Choose your HubSpot account, review the permissions, and click Connect.
- You're returned to Investra — connected, with your contacts syncing.
Permissions the integration is granted
When you connect, Investra receives an OAuth access token scoped to a specific set of permissions. You'll see these on HubSpot's consent screen before approving.
Data access (shown on the consent screen)
- Read your HubSpot contacts and their properties (name, email, phone, address, and similar fields).
- Create and update contacts in HubSpot, so changes you make in Investra stay in sync.
- Read HubSpot owners, so your contacts can be scoped to you.
Investra will not
- Access HubSpot objects outside these scopes — no deals, companies, tickets, or marketing data.
- Read other owners' contacts — your view is limited to the contacts you own.
- Delete your HubSpot contacts — Investra only reads and updates them.
- Change your HubSpot account settings, billing, or users.
Disconnecting
- From Investra: Integrations → HubSpot → Disconnect.
- From HubSpot: Settings → Account Setup → Connected Apps → Investra → Uninstall.
Disconnecting stops the sync immediately. Clients you've already saved in Investra keep their last-synced details, but refreshing them from HubSpot will no longer work until you reconnect.
Privacy
- You initiate each connection yourself and explicitly authorize the permissions on HubSpot's consent screen. No contact data is shared before you approve.
- Contact data synced into Investra is handled under the Investra privacy policy.
- Disconnecting (from either side) revokes Investra's access to your HubSpot data.

Troubleshooting
- "We couldn't determine your HubSpot owner": the HubSpot user you connected with isn't set up as an owner on that portal. Ask your HubSpot admin to add you as a user/owner, then reconnect.
- Contacts aren't showing up: make sure you connected the right HubSpot account and that the contacts are assigned to you as the owner — Investra only shows the contacts you own.
- "Reconnect required": the connection expired or the app was uninstalled in HubSpot. Reconnect from Integrations → HubSpot in Investra.
