Position Overview

We are looking for a CRM & Customer Outreach Strategy Intern to set up and optimize our customer relationship management (CRM) system and design a data‑driven customer outreach strategy. You will work closely with the founders to map our sales funnel, implement a CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent), and develop targeted engagement campaigns for investors, brokers, and real estate professionals.

This position is ideal for graduate students (MBA, MS in Marketing, Data Analytics, or related disciplines) who want to gain real‑world experience in marketing technology, customer segmentation, and go‑to‑market strategy. The internship is unpaid and can be completed remote or hybrid in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend CRM platforms that fit the needs of an early‑stage PropTech startup. Assist with set‑up, data import, and configuration.
  • Build and maintain clean contact lists (investors, brokers, property owners). Segment audiences by demographics, interests, and investment preferences to enable personalized outreach.
  • Collaborate with founders to craft multi‑channel outreach campaigns (email sequences, LinkedIn messaging, webinars). Develop templates and cadence schedules to nurture leads through the funnel.
  • Proactively identify and research potential investors and partners on LinkedIn and other social media platforms, building lists of qualified leads for outreach and engagement.
  • Track key metrics (open rates, response rates, conversion) to evaluate campaign effectiveness. Use insights to refine segmentation and messaging.
  • Work with the marketing team to align CRM data with social media and content efforts. Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all channels.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (MBA, MS in Marketing/Analytics, or related fields).
  • Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and basic data‑analysis skills (spreadsheets, SQL, or visualization tools).
  • Experience with lead generation tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, professional outreach messages.
  • Detail‑oriented self‑starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Interest in PropTech, real estate investing, or startups is a plus.
